EKI Subject Projects: level 1

This Unit is the first one in the EKI-­‐English Subject Projects course. By the end of this unit, the students will be able to use their Music and English knowledge to select the music and images for various situations, to integrate them into a musical montage, to give information about the authors or participants in those montages and also to assess montages done by others.

     
 

The secrets of the ocean

This Unit is the second one in the EKI-English Subject Projects 1 course. By the end of this unit, the students will be able to use their Earth Sciences and English knowledge to describe different aspects and processes relating to the ocean and to narrate significant events related to it. They will also be able to select the information they need from various sources given by the teacher.

     
 

The world of inventions

This Unit is the third one in the EKI-English Subject Projects 1 course. By the end of this unit, the students will be able to use their Technology and English knowledge to describe some aspects of technological advances, how these advances have developed over time. They will also be able to give a brief biographical profile of some of the key people involved. Students will also work on selecting the information they need from various sources given by the teacher.

his Unit is the second one in the EKI-English Subject Projects 2 course. By the end of this unit, the students will be able to use their knowledge on various health issues to describe (orally or in writing) data related to health habits, to draw conclusions from the data and to make suggestions to improve those health habits.

This Unit is the second one in the EKI-English Subject Projects 2 course. This Unit is the third one in the EKI-English Subject Projects 2 course. By the end of this unit, the students will be able to use their knowledge on various literary genres to create their own literary texts and to reproduce them orally.
